K-12 Tutoring specializes in personalized Math, Reading and Language Arts instruction for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

​​Hello, my name is Teacher Katie, M.E.d. and Licensed K-12 Teacher in the State of Kentucky. Let's put the FUN back into learning! During our sessions, students will:

 

*First and foremost, gain an appreciation for the FUN of the learning process

*Gain positive academic results based on 10+ years of teaching experience and expertise

 

*Be taught custom and tailored lessons to fit their specific academic needs

 

*Learn with custom made creative and unique lessons plans

 

*Learn critical thinking, conceptual thinking, social-emotional communication, and academic mindfulness

 

*Learn about their learning style and utilize this in sessions to optimize learning

My Background:

I earned a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and History, in 2009 and a TESOL teaching certification, in 2018. I earned a Master degree in Education M.Ed., in 2021. I teach for an international school online, tutor in the community as well as teach at local public school in Special Education.

 

I believe education and learning is a very personal process, which is why it should be tailored and differentiated to each individual as much as possible. Every individual can learn and progress!

​Rates:

$35/Hour Virtually (Wyzant Virtual Classroom or Zoom)

​

$55/Hour in Person (Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio area - limit of 30 minutes distance)

Hours:

9am-9pm Monday-Friday (Open to Homeschooling Students during the day)
